AkiCon, etcWell, I won the AMV contest, that's the first thing I'll say. I can hardly believe it, frankly, I don't think I should have. There were several other entries that were simply amazing, and I think I should have placed after them.
Especially this one Wolfs Rain AMV, the person who made it said they'll be uploading it to youtube, so I hope they do that soon, I must show it to everyone, and send it out to all my watchers. xD
I can't complain about victory though. Victory came with $100 akicon dollars to spend in the vendor room, and buy pocky 'n ramune.... Can't complain at all really...
Vic Mignogna and Chuck Huber were great, and I got pictures with both, so I'll upload those soon enough. Which reminds me, Vic had a few things to say about my video. It was very amusing, yes, very. So much so that it's still echoing in the back of my head.

Gren and I had a good time. We're thinking about doing a Rocky Horror themed skit next year for the cosplay showdown. Hellsing meets Rocky Horror. Oh yes.
I met new people aswell, of course, although this is a big deal to me. I usually avoid other people at cons like they were the plague or something.
So, I'll just say that Emily and Sporky brightened my days there. Which reminds me... Yaoi paddle circle. FTW.
I also ran into Alex, and old friend o' mine who I hadn't seen in maybe, I dunno, TWO EFFING YEARS.
Yeah, I just happened to run into her there, err, Gren ran into her, then I did....
Girlycard was alot better received then I thought, so that was nice.

Hahah... I don't know, to be honest. I just don't look like what we'd call run of the mill girls around here, s'not so much looks, but the way I am. Cuz say about 90% of the girls in England straigten their dyed hair, plaster themselves in make-up, wear the trendiest clothes (which here right now is 'vintage', and I'm talkin tops that look like they should be worn by a pregnant lady, tea cosy hats and massive belts and footless tights). Dunno, cuz look at me, I wear what I damn well like, I don't drink or smoke, or go out at night, I don't talk like a chav, hell, to relax, I walk through a fricken graveyard, and I'm a psychic medium who is followed by a number of dead people, and my hobby includes making fictional characters come to life in costume and having photoshoots as a cartoon character. XD I'm not your average British girl. TBH if you dont look like a fake-tan footballer's wife, you aint pretty over here. Thats the opinion of most, anyway, but t'is probably unfair to say that XD
